TROPA MAGICA
East L.A.’s Tropa Magica brings a wild mix of psychedelic cumbia, punk, grunge, surf and tropical grooves. Formed by brothers David and Rene Pacheco, the band pulls from ’60s Peruvian cumbia, ’90s East L.A. backyard parties and punk shows, then twists it all into their own high-energy psychedelic dance party.

Straight out of Boyle Heights and East L.A., Spaghetti Cumbia mixes traditional cumbia with rock, punk and the dramatic sounds of old Western movie soundtracks.
Known for high-energy live shows, big crowd interaction and a dance floor that rarely stays still, the five-piece has built a sound that feels familiar and completely different at the same time.
